What are the course times?
The course times will be stated in the registration confirmation sent to you by email. As a general rule, our in-class course times are 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (participants are welcome from 8.15 a.m.). The times are stated on each page of the training programs for public sessions of our virtual courses.
How can I register for a training course?
You can register at any time on our website, by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 1 800 499-8896.
You will receive registration confirmation within 48 hours of registering stating the course time and fees. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact our Customer Service desk at 1 800 499-8896 or email@example.com
Am I required to pay for my training course in advance?
The fees must be paid in full before the beginning of the course.
You can pay by credit card by entering your credit card details on registration on our website or when you register by phone.
In general, the invoice will be sent to you approximately ten days before the start of your training course (and the debit will be drawn on your credit card in the same time frame).
Is there a deadline for registering for a training course?
No. You can register at any time depending on your availability. However, it is preferable to register at least two weeks before the release date, which is when we cancel sessions if we do not have enough registrations.
How can I find out if there are available places for a given training course?
As a general rule, if a date is displayed on our website, this means that there are available places.
Can I cancel my registration for a training course?
Yes, it’s possible, based on the following policy:
In-class training courses
For cancellation or deferral:
No fee is charged ten business days before the beginning of the activity.
50% of the regular registration fee is charged if the ten-day cancellation date is not met.
100% of the regular registration fee is charged for withdrawal or deferral less than 72 business hours before the activity begins or if the participant is absent from the activity.
Online training courses
For cancellation or deferral:
No fee is charged five business days before the beginning of the activity.
50% of the regular registration fee is charged if the five-day cancellation date is not met.
100% of the regular registration fee is charged for withdrawal or deferral less than 48 business hours before the activity begins or if the participant is absent from the activity.
Substitute participants for the same activity are accepted with no charge.
Cancellations and deferrals must be requested in writing (by email to firstname.lastname@example.org).
CFC Group reserves the right to cancel an activity due to insufficient registration; people who have paid their registration fees will receive a credit or a refund.
CFC Group reserves the right to refuse or cancel a registration.
Is it possible to defer a training course to another date?
Yes, however, please note that a deferral will be treated as a cancellation so our cancellation policy will apply.
What do the registration fees cover?
The registration fees include the cost of participation, the training materials and the breaks and lunches, where applicable.
What is the time limit for payment of my invoice?
Invoices are payable on receipt. We accept cheques, direct deposits and Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

ONLINE CLASSES - How do I join my session?
You should receive an email containing the instructions 24 to 48 hours before your training course. It is important that you read the instructions before your training course begins.

Is my computer powerful enough?
WebEx or Zoom applications are supported by Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.
Do I need a headset?
We recommend that you use a headset with a microphone so that you are not disturbed by background noise from your environment. You can also simply use the built-in loud speakers and microphone on your computer or a hands-free telephone. However, please note that if you do not have a headset, you should turn off your microphone to prevent an echo.
What type of Internet connection do I need?
For optimal performance, please use a high-debit broadband Internet connection rather than a wireless connection.
Can I use a tablet or a mobile device?
No. Our training courses include interactive activities. It is unfortunately impossible to fully benefit from your training experience on a tablet or a telephone.
How can I interact with the trainer?
You can click on the speak icon at any time and then ask your question normally in your microphone or in front of your computer. You can also use the chat tool to type your question.
Should I find a room to follow my virtual class?
Your virtual class is accessible anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection. It is strongly recommended that you find a calm place. To avoid being disrupted, close the door, turn off your mobile phone and shut down your email.
What should I do if I have a technical problem during a training course?
If a glitch occurs, you can ask the trainer to help you solve the problem. If the problem persists, please call the technical helpdesk at 1 800 499-8896.
How long do virtual training courses last?
The duration depends on the selected training course. We offer one-off sessions lasting between 1.5 and 3 hours and multi-session courses.
Do you issue a training completion attestation?
Anyone who participates in a structured training activity to the satisfaction of CFC Group may receive an attestation stating the professional development units (PDUs) earned. One unit (PDU) is equal to ten hours of participation.
Are your training courses recognized by Emploi-Québec?
Yes, CFC Group is a training organization that has been certified by the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail (Certification no. 0057388).
Is lunch included?
Yes, the lunch meal is included in your training course fees (for in-class courses).
