As a general rule, our in-class course times are 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (participants are welcome from 8.15 a.m.).\u00a0 The times are stated on each page of the training programs for public sessions of our virtual courses.[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;REGISTRATION AND FEES&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1604699885942-aa293398-a966&#8243;][vc_toggle title=&#8221;How can I register for a training course?&#8221;]You can register at any time on our website, by sending an e-mail to sac@groupecfc.com or by calling 1 800 499-8896.<\/p>\n<p>You will receive registration confirmation within 48 hours of registering stating the course time and fees. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact our Customer Service desk at 1\u00a0800 499-8896 or sac@groupecfc.com[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Am I required to pay for my training course in advance?&#8221;]The fees must be paid in full before the beginning of the course.<\/p>\n<p>You can pay by credit card by entering your credit card details on registration on our website or when you register by phone.<\/p>\n<p>In general, the invoice will be sent to you approximately ten days before the start of your training course (and the debit will be drawn on your credit card in the same time frame).[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Is there a deadline for registering for a training course?&#8221;]No. You can register at any time depending on your availability. However, it is preferable to register at least two weeks before the release date, which is when we cancel sessions if we do not have enough registrations.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;How can I find out if there are available places for a given training course?&#8221;]As a general rule, if a date is displayed on our website, this means that there are available places.[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;CANCELLATION POLICY&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1604700087302-e9b97d87-2131&#8243;][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Can I cancel my registration for a training course?&#8221;]Yes, it\u2019s possible, based on the following policy:<\/p>\n<p><em>In-class training courses<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For cancellation or deferral:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>No fee is charged ten business days before the beginning of the activity.<br \/>\n50% of the regular registration fee is charged if the <u>ten-day cancellation date<\/u> is not met.<br \/>\n100% of the regular registration fee is charged for withdrawal or deferral <u>less than 72 business hours<\/u> before the activity begins or if the participant is absent from the activity.<\/p>\n<p><em>Online training courses<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For cancellation or deferral:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>No fee is charged five business days before the beginning of the activity.<br \/>\n50% of the regular registration fee is charged if the <u>five-day cancellation date<\/u> is not met.<br \/>\n100% of the regular registration fee is charged for withdrawal or deferral <u>less than 48 business hours<\/u> before the activity begins or if the participant is absent from the activity.<\/p>\n<p>Substitute participants for the same activity are accepted with no charge.<\/p>\n<p>Cancellations and deferrals must be requested in writing (by email to sac@groupecfc.com).<\/p>\n<p>CFC Group reserves the right to cancel an activity due to insufficient registration; people who have paid their registration fees will receive a credit or a refund.<\/p>\n<p>CFC Group reserves the right to refuse or cancel a registration.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Is it possible to defer a training course to another date?&#8221;]Yes, however, please note that a deferral will be treated as a cancellation so our cancellation policy will apply.[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;FEES AND INVOICES&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1604700145568-fe99834e-e078&#8243;][vc_toggle title=&#8221;What do the registration fees cover?&#8221;]The registration fees include the cost of participation, the training materials and the breaks and lunches, where applicable.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;What is the time limit for payment of my invoice?&#8221;]Invoices are payable on receipt.\u00a0 We accept cheques, direct deposits and Visa and MasterCard credit cards.<\/p>\n<p>Payment by cheque: please make your cheque payable to Groupe CFC and send it to 2, Place Laval, bureau 470, Laval (Qu\u00e9bec) H7N 5N6.[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;INTERNET CONNECTION AND IT EQUIPMENT&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1605626465690-532d54e0-5d75&#8243;][vc_toggle title=&#8221;ONLINE CLASSES &#8211; How do I join my session?&#8221;]You should receive an email containing the instructions 24 to 48 hours before your training course.\u00a0 It is important that you read the instructions <strong>before<\/strong> your training course begins.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or connection problems, please contact us at 1\u00a0800\u00a0499-8896 or sac@groupecfc.com[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Is my computer powerful enough?&#8221;]WebEx or Zoom applications are supported by Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Do I need a headset?&#8221;]We recommend that you use a headset with a microphone so that you are not disturbed by background noise from your environment. \u00a0You can also simply use the built-in loud speakers and microphone on your computer or a hands-free telephone. However, please note that if you do not have a headset, you should turn off your microphone to prevent an echo.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;What type of Internet connection do I need?&#8221;]For optimal performance, please use a high-debit broadband Internet connection rather than a wireless connection.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Can I use a tablet or a mobile device?&#8221;]No. Our training courses include interactive activities.\u00a0 It is unfortunately impossible to fully benefit from your training experience on a tablet or a telephone.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;How can I interact with the trainer?&#8221;]You can click on the speak icon at any time and then ask your question normally in your microphone or in front of your computer.\u00a0You can also use the chat tool to type your question.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;Should I find a room to follow my virtual class?&#8221;]Your virtual class is accessible anywhere as long as you have an Internet connection. It is strongly recommended that you find a calm place. To avoid being disrupted, close the door, turn off your mobile phone and shut down your email.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;What should I do if I have a technical problem during a training course?&#8221;]If a glitch occurs, you can ask the trainer to help you solve the problem.\u00a0 If the problem persists, please call the technical helpdesk at 1 800 499-8896 #\u00a0258.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=&#8221;How long do virtual training courses last?&#8221;]The duration depends on the selected training course. This will mention the continuing education units (CEU) obtained.
